How long we retain your information
Our customer information retention policies are as follows:
- If you subscribe to our newsletter or email lists, we retain your email address until you unsubscribe. You can easily unsubscribe via instructions on the bottom of emails sent to you.
- For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time.
- If you leave a comment or rating, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
- If you place an order on our website, all order related information is retained for a minimum of 6 months after completion of the order.
GRUNLAN RESEARCH GROUP follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
